Earlier this year, in March 2025, RUN Foundation Uganda hosted the Graceway Church Mission Team<\/strong> for a landmark visit that culminated in the dedication of the Graceway Skills Lab<\/strong> at Galilee Health Institute. The visit highlighted the power of international partnerships in advancing healthcare education and community development<\/strong> in Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Graceway Mission Team, led by Pastor Brandon, Tara Smith, and Ricardo, arrived in Uganda in early March and were warmly received at RUN Foundation\u2019s Kampala Mission House, which served as their base throughout their activities in the central region. The team\u2019s presence marked a period of high-impact medical training, school ministry outreach, and community engagement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Highlights of the Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Graceway Skills Lab Dedication:<\/strong> The highlight of the visit was the official dedication of the Graceway Skills Lab, a facility designed to equip students with essential dental skills<\/strong>, particularly those who come from our targeted communities. The lab represents a significant step toward building local capacity in dental healthcare<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hands-On Professional Training:<\/strong> A notable feature of the mission was a dental implant training session led by Dr. Greg Calloway<\/strong> at RUN Dental Clinic. Ugandan dentists and practitioners gained practical implantology skills, fostering professional growth and strengthening the local dental workforce.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Western Uganda Outreach \u2013 Kabale:<\/strong> The team traveled to Kabale, where they conducted a GLOW Medical and Dental Outreach<\/strong>. Hundreds of community members benefited from consultations, dental checkups, treatment, and health education, illustrating the mission\u2019s commitment to holistic healthcare<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The Graceway Mission Team also engaged students in educational settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Twinbrook Elementary School:<\/strong> Children participated in Bible teaching, music, interactive games, and health awareness sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Kyambogo High School:<\/strong> Students were encouraged through motivational talks, counseling, and testimonies, fostering both personal and academic growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Additionally, the team explored Ugandan culture<\/strong>, visiting local craft markets and supporting small business vendors, further deepening their connection with the communities they served.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The dedication of the Graceway Skills Lab reinforces the strategic role of Galilee Health Institute<\/strong> in training healthcare professionals for underserved communities across Uganda. Students now have access to state-of-the-art facilities and practical learning experiences<\/strong>, equipping them to deliver essential healthcare services in rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The March mission underscored the importance of collaborative partnerships<\/strong> in creating sustainable healthcare solutions. Graceway Church\u2019s ongoing support has been pivotal in advancing RUN Foundation\u2019s mission to transform lives through healthcare, education, and skill development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
